Good oral hygiene and natural remedies easily provide relief from bad breath. First make sure your teeth and gums are in good shape. Then drink plenty of fluids (at least two quarts a day)--a dry mouth means more odor-causing bacteria.
Try to brush after each meal and to floss once a day. And brush the back of your tongue, where the sulfide-producing bacteria also thrive. A tongue scraper can be a most useful tool for ending breath woes permanently.
Finally, upgrade your diet to avoid junk food, sugary foods, and strong-smelling foods, and make a real effort to add more fresh fruit and vegetables to your daily fare. And remember, all these efforts will come to nothing if you continue to smoke and allow yourself to travel through the world with "ashtray breath."
